AI Games: Play Games Powered by AI or Built With It
AI games means two different things, and this directory covers both. Some games use AI while you play: a language model invents the result of your move, or a neural network tries to guess your drawing. Others were built with AI tools, with the code, art or sound written or generated by a model, while the gameplay itself may be entirely classic. The directory lists 30 games and says which kind each one is.
Most of them run in a browser tab, and one is sold on Steam. We link to each game's own page and credit its author. Every entry carries a short "AI role" line, so you can see where the AI actually sits. Start with the games that use AI in play, or browse by genre: puzzle, simulation, action, arcade and strategy.

How we choose the games
We start from two families. The first is games where AI is part of the gameplay: five are listed here (AI Dungeon, Infinite Craft, Gandalf, Quick, Draw! and AI Roguelite). The second is games whose authors present them as built with AI. Those 25 come from the public AI Built Games directory, which we credit on every entry.
For each game we checked that its page answered online on 16 October 2026. That is all "checked" means here. We do not rate or rank the games, and we have not played them, so the descriptions restate what the authors and their pages say. The author is credited on each entry.

AI games: frequently asked questions
What is an AI game?
The term covers two things. In some games an AI model is part of the gameplay: it writes the story, decides what your move produces or guesses your drawing. In others the AI was a tool for building the game, writing code or generating images and sound. Each entry here states which one applies.
Are AI games free?
Many are, but check the page of each game before you commit. AI Roguelite, for example, is a paid game on Steam, and Alibi Machine offers three free cases plus an optional one-time paid edition. Other games describe themselves as free in the browser, though prices and terms can change.
Do I need to install anything?
For most games in this directory, no: they open in a browser tab, and several pages say there is no download. AI Roguelite is the exception, since it is a Steam game. AI Dungeon plays online or in its app. The page of each game explains what it needs.
Who makes these games?
A mix of companies and independent creators. Latitude, Lakera and Google are behind some of the games that use AI in play, Neal Agarwal made Infinite Craft, and most of the other games are credited to individual developers, often by their handle. The author appears on every entry.
How can I submit my game?
Send us an email with the game's name, its URL, a one-sentence description, how AI was used and who made it. The "Submit a game" page lists the criteria and the address. Listing is free, and we only add games whose page answers online.
