Country Draw

Draw countries from memory on a real map and see how close you got

Play ↗ Opens the game's own site in a new tab.

Country Draw is a geography drawing game in which you sketch a missing country on a real map. Each round removes one outline and leaves the surrounding borders, coastlines, water and the capital location as clues. You rebuild the border from memory, then submit and see which areas matched, which were missed and which went beyond the real boundary. The site says you can practice 197 country outlines.

Two modes control the help you get. Cover places an opaque mask over the target area, while Capital removes the cover and relies on the marked capital. The map selector includes World, US States, Canada and Australia, and the toolbar has Draw, Move, Undo and Clear. A daily challenge asks you to draw a hidden country, and a practice mode is available too.

The page suggests setting the outer limits first, drawing the main border with a few confident curves and then redrawing the largest error. Your score card shows the result map and four score values, and can be shared to X, Facebook, Reddit, WhatsApp or email, copied as a link, or saved as a PNG. The map uses MapLibre with OpenFreeMap and OpenStreetMap data.
